Since 1999, the Anti Dowry Movement Manch has championed women's rights and gender equality through grassroots activism and policy advocacy. Under the leadership of Mr. V.P. Nagar, our network of district and regional committees brings together activists, survivors, legal experts, and volunteers to challenge harmful traditions and build a more equitable future.
Mission
To eradicate the dowry system and its associated social evils by driving public awareness, influencing policy reforms, and providing direct support to women and families in need.
Our Values
At the Anti Dowry Movement Manch, we uphold the principles of equality, ensuring every individual is treated with respect and dignity.
Mobilizing communities to challenge and change dowry practices.
Our campaigns are thoughtfully designed to educate the public about the dangers of dowry, empower women with legal knowledge and social support, and create meaningful change at the grassroots level. From awareness workshops in villages to legal aid camps and dowry-free marriage pledges, each initiative aims to shift mindsets, strengthen communities, and build a society where respect and equality replace outdated and harmful traditions.
